BOOK SUMMARY
As its title indicate this book tries to establish that grapevine was the same tree of knowledge of good and evil existed in the middle of the Eden garden. It unveils the hitherto unknown story of grapevine, which will not fade out from the mind of every reader. In order to convince this fact the author analyses various clues and proofs from the Holy Bible, from history and from the inventions of two great men of medical art.
From the Bible the vow of Nazarite, the first effect of eating the forbidden fruit, the impression of its appearance, the identification of Jesus with vine and the exclusive law preventing other seeds in a vineyard etc. are explained.
On going through the history of the world it is evident that peoples having strong tradition of wine dominated and ruled others at all times. The intellectual standard, manners and appearance of various peoples on earth can be distinguished with their extent of heritage of wine. This book ascribes the credit of the advancement and achievement of mankind to vine, and calls for all, especially the poor, backward and downtrodden societies, to come under the canopy of vine for their resurrection.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The author of this book is a layman. This is his first work. His continuous, meditative reading and study of the Scriptures and the service-books of the Oriental Orthodox Church for a quarter of a century, together with an acquaintance with the Homoeopathic literature and Bach Flower Remedies, contributed to the creation of this work. Through it the author upholds that the benevolent, fermented wine of grapes, and not the injurious, distilled spirit, must be the acceptable beverage of mankind.
